2018 was a coming out party for Paula Findlay on the Ironman 70.3 circuit. After spending most of the previous decade competing on the Olympic distance, Findlay made to switch to the longer events. She wasted no time to make her mark on this new distance when she won Ironman 70.3 North American Championships in St. George. Learning and gaining experience at every race, Paula is now ready for 2019 and will be a strong contender for the podium every time you see her name on the start list.

In 2019, Paula will be able to count on new and returning sponsors that will provide her with the very best equipment available. Returning to her team are Trek, supplying her with a customized Speed concept and SRAM who provided her with the newly released Red eTap AXS. As for her wheels, she will once again be riding on Zipp 454 NSWs this season.

A newcomer to the team in 2019 is Castelli Cycling, who will be providing Paula with what is likely to be the fastest (and best looking) suit of the field. Although comfort can sometimes be taken for granted, the custom-made All Out Speed Suit that matches here bike to perfection is the best suit Paula has ever tried on. Paula’s first impression was love at first try and she actually didn’t want to take it off!Her racing calendar will focus on 70.3 events in North America but with an ultimate goal of competing for a podium finish at World Championships in Nice, FRA. Looking to build on 2018, we’re excited to see what this new season has in store for her!
