A personal goal of hers is to have the opportunity to pay it forward to the next generation as she wears the Maple Leaf with pride around the world.

Erin is considered the veteran on the Canadian Women's Alpine Ski Team. Despite her young age, she has a tremendous amount of experience on the world stage. In 2011, she did something that hadn't been done in Canadian alpine skiing in 41 years: She won gold in a FIS World Cup Slalom race. Ever since that historic race, Erin been a steady top ten contender and stepped on the podium again in 2013 getting a Bronze at the Zagreb FIS World Cup in the Slalom event.

Whether she's out mountain biking, surfing or hiking, Erin is an immensely talented all-round athlete. The Collingwood, Ont. native also used to compete internationally in water skiing where she won a silver medal at the 2006 Water Ski Junior World Championships before switching her focus to the snow full time.

Now a three-time Olympian, Erin still feels like her skiing is improving every year. Learning plenty about herself and how to get the best performance when it matters, her road to Beijing 2022 looks promising!

Having been exposed to many sports growing up, Erin's true love was always to go as fast as possible on two boards. She originally made her debuts on water skis but later made the switch to the snow. Growing up north of Toronto, Erin still calls Collingwood home despite spending most of her summers in Canmore, AB to train with the rest of her team.

A true animal lover, Erin values the importance of maintaining a healthy life balance when she's not training or competing. She has hopes of completing veterinary studies after her athletic career and has been seen with a huge smile on her face petting reindeer in Sweden!
