The 2023-24 World Cup season Abigail enjoyed her breakout season in 2022-23 where she consistently placed in the top-10 on the World Cup that included her first podium, taking the bronze medal in Hinterzarten, Germany to go along with three fourth-place finishes. She finished sixth overall on the 2023 Summer Grand Prix with four top-six finishes and two additional leaps into the top-10.  


Abigail Strate was part of a history-making moment in her Olympic debut at Beijing 2022. She and teammates Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes, Alexandria Loutitt, and Matthew Soukup won bronze in the inaugural Olympic mixed team ski jumping event. It was Canada’s first ever Olympic medal in ski jumping.Feeding off that historic day, Abigail’s future goals extend much further as she aims to be consistently on the World Cup podium, win a Crystal Globe, and individual Olympic and World Championship medals.
